Congratulations to Dr. Xiaohan Wu for the complete success of his defense
On November 11, 2019, Xiaohan Wu's doctoral dissertation defense meeting was held in the F606 conference room of the Advanced Materials Department of the Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. At the invitation of Prof. Zhang, five experts including Professor Bin Ding from Donghua University, Professor Tianxi Liu from Jiangnan University, Professor Jinhua Song from Southern University of Science and Technology, Professor Jiayou Zhao from Soochow University, and Professor Xiaochun Zhou from the Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences participated in the review.
In this defense, Xiaohan Wu gave a report on the work done by her doctoral students. The main research content is the controllable preparation and application research of graphene-based composite aerogels, and the research results obtained and the scientific problems solved. A detailed report was made. Subsequently, the experts present commented on the student’s research work, first affirmed the research results and progress, and then the experts asked questions about the research content and the theoretical methods used, and the students gave detailed and accurate answers . In addition, the experts put forward further suggestions for modification and improvement of the student's paper. In the end, the members of the expert group agreed that Wu Xiaohan met the criteria for granting a doctorate degree and recommended that he be awarded a doctorate degree in science.
