From October 27th to 29th, 2019,Prof. Zhang and Associate professor Jin Wang were invited to participate in the Sino-German bilateral seminar on "Development Trends and Challenges of Aerogel Materials: Production, Modeling and Application". The conference was hosted by the Chinese Ceramic Society and co-organized by the Sol-Gel Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society and Tongji University. During the conference, more than 20 participants from China, Germany and third countries conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme of "Development Trends and Challenges of Aerogel Materials: Production, Modeling and Application". Prof. Zhang did Associate professor Jin Wang gave an invited report titled "Aerogels and Beyond: Recent Progress in Our Group" and an invited report titled "Polymeric Aerogels with Controllable Structures and Functions".
