On May 12, 2018, the spring outing that the friends were looking forward to officially took place. Different from the travels in the mountains and rivers in previous years, under the strong suggestion of Teacher Zhang Xuetong, this year’s destination was chosen as the birthplace of China’s rural reform: Xiaogang Village, Fengyang County, Anhui Province. Teacher Wang Jin led the team members to experience “Xiaogang”. spirit".
       In 1978, the 18 farmers of Xiaogang Village took great risks and set the status of life and death in the form of "Thanksgiving to the Orphans". They pressed the red handprint on the land contract responsibility letter and created the "Xiaogang Spirit". It opened the prelude to China's reform and opening up.
       This "dare to think, dare to do, dare to be the first" style has important guiding significance for our scientific research and work. There is no pre-planned grand blueprint for scientific research in any field. It needs to try boldly in constant exploration, be brave to doubt authority, break through the mindset, and embark on a path of innovation.

       After that, the team also went to the nearby Wolf Lane Mi Valley to carry out quality development activities, and exercised their physique while harvesting spiritual food.
